21 April 2026 – Cape Town Surfing Squad Coaching Groups Open for Registration
Cape Town Surfing is now accepting registrations for its Squad Coaching Groups, offering structured pathways for surfers of all abilities.
Whether you’re catching your first wave or working towards elite-level performance, our coaching programme provides a clear progression system supported by experienced coaches and proven development methods.
Programmes available:
• Beginner
• Intermediate
• Advanced
• Elite
Ages: 7–18 Years
Locations:
Hout Bay, Llandudno, Kommetjie and Muizenberg
Training Times:
Weekday afternoons from 3:30pm
The programme includes structured coaching pathways, video analysis, technical development, ocean safety education, confidence-building exercises, and performance-focused training. Equipment is available for all levels, from beginner softboards through to advanced performance surfboards.
Training is led by Cape Town Surfing Director Liam Wood, South African Team Coach with more than 30 years of surfing and coaching experience.
Places are limited to ensure quality coaching and individual attention.
